Mike Brannan

Running Centric’s technology practice allows me to be involved in the things I like most to the benefit of our clients and consultants."


Mike Brannan is the Vice President of Technology and has responsibility for building the Technology Practice across all of Centric's offices.

Mike has over 20 years of diverse technical management experience in design and delivery of scalable and complex software solutions in a variety of domains including Telecommunications, eCommerce, online services and logistics. Mike's areas of expertise include product design & build, product strategy & management, and product marketing.

Mike's current focus is the growth and development of Centric’s Technical Practice. Goal is to position the practice for significant sales growth over the next 5 years by developing consulting service offerings in high demand fields of expertise such as eCommerce, Cloud Computing, Agile Development, Mobility, Business Intelligence, and Portal Development. Additional focus is to develop a product development practice for further diversification of Centric revenue.

Mike's Specialties Include:
  • Product management and product marketing.
  • General management, leadership, project management.
  • Application development, preferably via an Agile approach.
  • M&A technical due diligence (buy and sell side).
  • Consulting practice creation and management.

Prior to joining Centric Mike was Vice President of Product Development at CMS Communications, a software company selling commercial software to large tier 1 Telecommunication firms.

Mike has a BS in Electrical Engineering from Ohio State University and an MBA from Arizona State University.

Mike lives in Columbus, Ohio with his wife Debbie and three children, Ben, Zach, and Laura. Mike's activities include:
  • Rebuilding Together of Central Ohio, Board Member, Trustee, Executive Committee, Development Committee Chair, IT Committee. Nonprofit serving the poor in Central Ohio by keeping seniors safe warm and dry in their own homes (www.rtcentralohio.org).
  • Innovation Forum Founding Member. The Ohio State University Fisher College of Business.
  • Grandview Heights Bobcat Boosters board member. Non profit raises > $50K per year to support local public schools.
  • Fitness, water and snow skiing, bicycling, and guitars. And of course technology.
